Preparing the Aircraft

This section explains how to prepare the aircraft before an experiment, including unfolding the aircraft, installing the flight battery, and checking its charge level. Refer to page 14 of the DJI M30 Quick Start Guide.

Install the Onboard Computer Wi-Fi Antenna

• Locate the cable and accessory organizer in the UAV packaging and remove the Wi-Fi antenna.

• Install the Wi-Fi antenna in the location shown below.

Unfold the Aircraft

• Unfold the propellers.

Install the Flight Battery and Check Its Charge Level

• To check the battery level, see the Flight Battery Voltage Measurement video tutorial.
• Install the battery.

Power On the Aircraft

• Power on: Briefly press the aircraft power button. After power-on, the LED under each of the four motors illuminates.
• (Power off: Press and hold the aircraft power button. After power-off, the LEDs under the four motors turn off.)
