Control the GX40 Gimbal with the H16 Remote Controller

GX40 Gimbal Introduction

  • Open a browser (it must be set to compatibility mode) and enter "http://192.168.144.108" in the address bar.

  • On the page that opens, enter the username and password (the default username is user and the password is 0000).

Note:
1. Do not turn on the nose spotlight or the GX40 gimbal's night-vision fill light while it is pointed at people.
2. Reduce the resolution of video streamed to the remote controller to reduce communication-link bandwidth usage.
3. Watch the following video tutorial in detail before using the product.
  • In the following video tutorial, the RTSP live-video stream URL in QGC uses 3840x2160 @30fps.
    • If the H16 remote controller must retrieve an RTSP stream while the UAV is flying, 352x240 @20fps is recommended.
rtsp://user:0000@192.168.144.108:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
  • Main stream (default: 3840x2160 @30fps; corresponds to the fourth stream in GCU):
rtsp://user:0000@192.168.144.108:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
  • Auxiliary stream 1 (default: 352x240 @20fps; corresponds to the auxiliary stream in GCU):
rtsp://user:0000@192.168.144.108:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1
  • Auxiliary stream 2 (default: 1920x1080 @30fps; corresponds to the main stream in GCU):
