This chapter provides the disclaimer and safe-operation guidelines for the P600 UAV.

Preflight Checklist

• Check the battery for leaks or damage. After confirming that the battery is in good condition, insert it securely into the battery compartment.

• Check whether the propellers are loose. Then check whether any screws are loose and whether the propellers can rotate freely. After confirming that there are no problems, unfold the propellers.

• Check that the remote controller is powered on and check the controller's TX battery level.

• After powering on the UAV, check that the lights under the motors illuminate normally.

• After connecting the ground station, check the UAV battery voltage. Charging is recommended when the voltage drops to 22.2 V.

• Check that the UAV is on a level surface. Check the UAV's attitude indicator, altitude, heading angle, and other information.

• Check the safety settings, including low-battery protection, the geofence, and the return-to-home altitude.

• This product is intended for research and education. Its source code is open and supports secondary development. It is not a stable commercial product. Users require a certain level of foundational knowledge, and its stability cannot be compared with that of commercial products. By purchasing the product, you acknowledge and understand these special characteristics. Secondary development has a certain technical threshold and requires users to have development skills and the ability to learn independently.

• Once you begin using this product, you are deemed to have read, understood, acknowledged, and accepted all terms and content of its manual, disclaimer, and safety instructions. Users undertake responsibility for their conduct and all resulting consequences. Users undertake to use this product only for legitimate purposes and agree to these terms and any relevant policies or guidelines that AMOVLAB may establish.

• While using this product, strictly follow and implement all requirements, including but not limited to those in the manual and safety instructions. Users bear all related responsibility and losses for any personal injury, accident, property loss, legal dispute, or other adverse event involving a conflict of interests caused by conduct that violates the safety instructions or by force majeure. AMOVLAB accepts no liability.

• AMOVLAB accepts no liability for any direct or indirect violation of laws or regulations arising from a user's use of this product.

• Carefully read these instructions before using this product. By beginning to use this product, you acknowledge and accept all contents of this document. Strictly follow the installation and operating instructions in this document. AMOVLAB accepts no legal liability for any consequences or losses caused by improper use, installation, unauthorized modification, or other actions by the user.

Legal Requirements and Flight Restrictions

• No-fly areas

  • Airspace-protection zones extending 10 km from either side of a civil airport runway centerline and 20 km beyond each runway end, and 15 km from either side of a military airport runway centerline and 20 km beyond each runway end;

  • Military administrative zones, prisons, power plants, and areas within 100 m of them;

  • Railways, expressways, ultra-high-voltage transmission lines, and areas within 50 m on either side of them;

  • Key controlled areas involving major military industries, communications, production and storage of hazardous chemicals, strategic material reserves, and similar facilities;

  • Temporary controlled areas announced by provincial and municipal (prefecture) people's governments.

• Main UAV laws and regulations

  • Provisions on the Real-Name Registration and Management of Civil Unmanned Aircraft: UAVs weighing more than 250 g must be registered.

  • Announcement on the Protection Scope of Civil Airport Obstacle Limitation Surfaces: no-fly zones have been established for 155 airports nationwide.

  • Guidelines for Building a Standards System for Unmanned Aircraft Systems: proposes a standards-system framework for unmanned aircraft systems.

  • UAV Geofencing and UAV Cloud-System Interface Data Specifications: the country was the first in the world to issue such industry standards.

  • Interim Regulations on the Flight Management of Unmanned Aircraft (Draft for Public Comment): introduces specific penalties for illegal flights for the first time.

Product Use Instructions

• Before powering on the product, ensure that the antennas are fully installed to prevent damage to the module when power is applied.

• Never reverse the power-supply polarity, as this may damage the device.

• Keep the module dry and away from water.

• Store the module carefully. Do not throw, strike, or drop it.

• Beginners should fly outdoors in Position mode. Position mode requires at least 15 GPS satellites.

• Always remove the propellers when debugging the aircraft or calibrating sensors (ESCs).

• The sensors initialize when the aircraft is powered on. Do not move the aircraft during initialization.

Flight Safety Instructions

• This product is not suitable for anyone under 18 years of age or anyone who does not have full capacity for civil conduct.

• This product has a large airframe, high-speed rotating propellers, and substantial flight power, and therefore presents certain hazards during operation. Failure to operate and use it as required may cause danger and injury.

• When using this product, stay away from hazardous environments such as airports, railways, expressways, high-rise buildings, and power lines.

• When using this product, stay away from environments with high electromagnetic interference, such as cellular base stations and high-power transmitting equipment.

• When using this product, stay away from all manned aircraft.

• Operate this product with a safety tether attached to prevent accidents.

• Do not use this product in adverse conditions such as rain, thunderstorms, sand or dust, fog, snow, strong wind, or low temperatures.

• Environmental factors will reduce flight performance above an altitude of 3000 m. Use this product with caution.

• This product is not waterproof. Do not attempt to land it on water.

• When operating this product at low altitude, always maintain a safe distance of at least 10 m between the UAV and any person or animal.

• When using this product outside sparsely populated areas, always keep the UAV within the operator's visual line of sight.

• Do not hover or fly this product over crowds, and do not use it to frighten others.

• If bystanders approach, operate carefully and land as soon as possible before leaving the area to avoid an accident.

• Do not operate this product near areas where children are playing.

• Do not use this product to chase vehicles or interfere with their normal operation.

• Unless absolutely necessary, do not stop the motors while this product is airborne.

• Do not use this product after consuming alcohol, while fatigued, after taking medication, or while feeling unwell.

• Inspect this product before each use, including but not limited to the security of its components, cracks or wear on the airframe and propellers, battery level, and proper operation of the indicator lights. If any abnormality is found, stop using the product immediately and replace the corresponding component.

• A UAV operating abnormally may cause an accident. Never start the propellers or attempt to fly it under such conditions.

• Do not attempt to stop any moving part while this product is operating.

• Do not modify this product or use it for purposes other than those for which it was designed.

• This product does not include cargo-carrying functionality. Do not use it for transportation.

• Use original accessories for maintenance and replacement.

• If lending the product to another person, ensure that the operator understands and follows these safety instructions.

After-Sales Information

• These terms apply only to products manufactured by AMOVLAB. They also apply to products sold by AMOVLAB through its authorized distributors.

• The warranty period for products we supply is 12 months from the date on which the product passes preliminary acceptance following delivery. We are responsible for repairing faults not caused by Party A. Consumables are not covered by the warranty. If problems occur during Party A's use of the product because the software was modified again, we may provide guidance by WeChat voice/video depending on the difficulty of resolving the problem.

• If our company verifies a quality issue within one week of the purchase date, AMOVLAB will pay the round-trip shipping costs for the returned product. If our company verifies a quality issue more than one week but no more than one year after the purchase date, the user and our company will each pay the cost of shipping the returned product in one direction.

• Proof of purchase and a warranty card or transaction record must be provided for repairs.

• If a quality issue occurs under normal use within seven days of purchase and the product has no cosmetic damage, the customer may negotiate with an official AMOVLAB sales channel or distributor for a free replacement with the same model by presenting the warranty card or proof of purchase. When a distributor receives a product for replacement, it must notify our company immediately so the replacement can be recorded.

• For damage caused by the user, modification, disassembly, or products beyond the one-year free warranty period, the user must pay round-trip shipping and repair costs. Fee standard: labor cost + component cost.

• To protect your rights and enable us to serve you promptly and effectively, complete the warranty card in full and request proof of purchase when buying an AMOVLAB product.
