This section explains how to charge the lithium batteries. Evaluate whether the aircraft's lithium battery has enough charge to complete the planned experiment. We recommend fully charging the battery before every flight.

Note:
1. During maintenance and storage, avoid direct sunlight and moisture, keep the battery away from high temperatures, and place it in a cool, dry location. Storage in a fireproof bag or explosion-resistant box is recommended.
2. Chemical reactions inside a fully charged lithium-polymer battery are relatively active. Storing it fully charged for too long causes aging and reduces discharge capability. The optimal storage voltage is approximately 3.85.
3. Disconnect the charger promptly after the battery is fully charged! Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to the charger for an extended period, as this may overcharge the battery. If you use a C1-XR smart charger, it emits an audible prompt and stops charging automatically when the battery is full.

Charger Overview

We use the C1-XR smart balance charger to charge the batteries. This section briefly introduces the C1-XR charger. For details, refer to the C1-XR Smart Balance Charger Manual.

Charge the 6S 10000mAh Propulsion Battery

This battery is the propulsion battery for the P600 UAV. Charging consists of three parts: connection, voltage measurement, and charging.

Connection Procedure

  • Connect the power supply: As described in the charger overview, connect charger power cable 12 to an AC outlet (100–240 V AC).
  • Connect the related cables: Connect balance adapter board 13 and battery balance connector 14 to 6S 10000mAh LiHV charging cable 15. Connect the Related Cables.png
  • Connect the battery: Connect 6S 10000mAh LiHV battery 16 to 6S 10000mAh LiHV charging cable 15. Battery Connection.png

Voltage Measurement

This is a LiHV high-voltage lithium battery. Check the voltage of each cell. A single-cell voltage of 4.35 indicates a full charge, while 3.7 is a low voltage. Complete the connection procedure described above.

3S 4000mAh Lithium Battery

Connection Procedure

  • Connect the power supply: As described in the charger overview, connect charger power cable 12 to an AC outlet (100–240 V AC).
  • Connect the battery: Connect balance adapter board 13 and battery balance connector 14 to the 3S 4000mAh lithium battery. 3S Battery Connection.png

Voltage Measurement

This is a LiPo lithium battery. Check the voltage of each cell. A single-cell voltage of 4.2 indicates a full charge, while 3.7 is a low voltage. Complete the connection procedure described above.
