Preparations and Checks Before Use

  • Before use, always check that the remote controller has sufficient battery power. Press the power button once to view the battery level. See Charging the Remote Controller.
  • Before use, check that the antennas are positioned as required for optimal performance.

Using the Remote Controller

After familiarizing yourself with powering the remote controller on and off, you can explore its other functions. The remote controller runs Android, and its operation is similar to that of an Android phone.

Power On

  • Press and hold the power button in the lower-left corner, then wait for the controller to start.

Status Bar Information

  • Swipe down on the status bar to view the remote controller's basic settings.
  • This operation is similar to using a phone. Tap an icon to open the corresponding function.

Power Off

  • Press and hold the power button. When the following screen appears, tap Power Off.

Power On

Press and hold power button 6, then wait for the controller to start.

After startup, the following screen appears:

Status Bar Information

    1. Successful network connection through Ethernet or USB (the figure shows a successful Wi-Fi connection)
    1. Signal strength between the H16 remote controller and R16 receiver (gray in the figure because no receiver is connected; white when connected)
    1. Battery level
    1. Time
    1. Back button
    1. Home button
    1. Background task management/split-screen button
    1. Successful Bluetooth connection (Bluetooth is not connected in the figure)

Power Off

  • Press and hold the power button. When the following screen appears, tap Power Off.
