This section describes the purpose, precautions, and typical applications of each interface for reference during wiring and integration.

The top area primarily contains components related to the antennas, data link expansion, and certain function buttons. The form and layout may vary slightly between configuration versions; refer to the physical product.

Typical Component Layout

  • Antenna mounting points: Used to install data link/data transmission antennas; ensure that they are unobstructed and properly oriented for good signal performance.

Usage Recommendations

  • When installing or adjusting an antenna, avoid forcefully twisting or repeatedly bending the antenna mount.
  • Do not install or remove modules inside the expansion bay while the device is powered on; if a module needs to be replaced, refer to the maintenance instructions.
  • During transport and long-term storage, use a protective cover or the original packaging to reduce pressure and scratches on the top components.
  • Replace the silicone port dust covers (see Nos. 38 and 39 in Section 3.3) after use to reduce dust ingress and corrosion.

Precautions

  • Charging and power supply: Use only the Type-C interface (No. 42), and it must support USB-PD;
  • Never draw power from USB-A or any other interface not designated for power supply, as this may damage the device or create a safety risk.
  • The 3.5 mm PPM interface (No. 40) is only for PPM signal input or output and must not be connected to headphones or speakers;
  • Connect or disconnect the SD card and cables during non-critical mission stages whenever possible to reduce the risk of data corruption and physical damage to interfaces. Do not insert a SIM card into slot No. 45.
