Fiber-Optic Data Link Package - Optional

The remote controller and mobile unit have been verified at the factory to connect and communicate normally. Users need to customize the data link configuration according to their needs.

Therefore, this section only provides an example of data link expansion. For more details, see Data Link Expansion Instructions in this manual.

This corresponds to the “Optional Data Link Package (Fiber-Optic Data Link)” in the Packing List, which includes:

• QE3 station unit: 1 unit. It is built directly into the QE3 remote controller by the manufacturer before shipment and does not require separate installation by the user. For units purchased later, refer to Data Link Expansion Instructions for DIY installation. Our company only provides consultation services for the normal use of the QE3, LQ10, LQ12, and the fiber-optic data link itself.
• Mobile Unit Fiber-Optic Module: 1 unit. It is installed on the aircraft/vehicle side and handles the mobile-unit data link and data transmission;
• Fiber-optic module Ethernet cable: Used to connect Ethernet devices such as gimbals, enabling Ethernet exchange of video or control data;
• Mobile Unit Fiber-Optic Module Power Supply: Used to power the mobile-unit data link.

If the actual package quantity or cable harness specifications differ from those described in this section, refer to the packing list included with the shipment.

Typical Configuration and Parameter Example

The following configuration is an example of a one-to-one connection between two fiber-optic data link units. Before configuration, ensure that the data link wiring is correct. QGroundControl is used as the ground control station. This configuration applies when one remote controller controls one device.
