Interface Overview

The QE3 Screen Remote Controller provides a wide range of interfaces for connecting external devices and expanding functionality.

USB

Item Specifications
Type‑C 1 × Type‑C power supply / charging / data interface. Supports fast charging via the USB‑PD protocol (a charger that supports USB‑PD must be used); can be used for data functions such as file transfer, USB tethering, MIDI, and PTP. Connecting the Type‑C interface to a computer is recommended only for officially specified upgrade / maintenance or debugging scenarios
USB‑A 1 × USB 3.0 (if configured), used to connect USB flash drives, debugging tools, and other USB peripherals (exFAT format is recommended for USB flash drives)

Display and Interfaces

Item Specifications
HDMI 1 × HDMI 2.0, maximum output resolution of 1080p, with synchronized audio and video output (see Section 5.4 for usage instructions)
3.5 mm PPM interface Used for conventional PPM remote-control signals and similar purposes (whether it is enabled and its specific usage are subject to the product specification sheet and supplied documentation)

Storage Expansion

microSD card slot 1 slot, supporting common microSD/SDHC/SDXC specifications; Class 10 or higher speed rating recommended

Network and Communication

Ethernet 1 × RJ45 Ethernet port, supporting configurations such as static IP and DHCP; actual link speed is subject to measurement
nano‑SIM card slot (No. 45) 1 × structurally reserved slot; no cellular/mobile network functionality; do not insert a SIM card (see Chapter 2, Regulations and Compliance Statement, for details)
PPM/other interfaces Depending on the specific model, expansion interfaces such as PPM and serial ports are provided for integration with a flight controller or other devices

Expansion and Compatibility

  • Various data link or data transmission modules can be connected through the expansion bay and data link interfaces;
  • The USB‑A interface can be used to connect storage devices, debugging tools, or certain human-machine interaction peripherals (such as a mouse or keyboard, depending on firmware support). USB‑A is generally preferred for routine data transfer; Type‑C is primarily used for power supply / fast charging via the USB‑PD protocol and can also serve as a supplementary data and upgrade interface when needed;
  • Interfaces such as HDMI and Ethernet make it easy to connect to existing command systems and display systems.
