Battery Safety and Charging Guidelines

This section provides reference information for the safe use and maintenance of the battery.

Charging Guidelines

• Charging Equipment: Prefer the supplied original charger and cable. The device supports fast charging via the USB‑PD protocol. Performance and safety are guaranteed only when an officially certified charger (including the cable) is used. Third-party charging equipment with unknown specifications or poor quality is not recommended.
• Charging Environment: Charge the device in a dry, well-ventilated area away from flammable materials. Avoid charging it for extended periods in high-temperature environments or direct sunlight.
• Charging Time: At the rated charging power, the typical charging time is 3 ~ 4 hours. Avoid prolonged overcharging.
• Recommendations for Modern Lithium Batteries: Modern lithium batteries are activated at the factory and do not require deliberately performing multiple “full charge-discharge cycles.” Using and recharging the battery within the 20%–80% charge range is recommended to balance service life and usability.
• Charging Anomaly Alert (compiled based on the current firmware design and actual behavior):
  • When the charger's output power is too low, the system displays “Charging power too low”;
  • If this alert appears, use the charger supplied with the device or one that meets the required specifications.

Remote Controller Storage Conditions

• Long-Term Storage: If the device will not be used for more than 1 month, keep the battery level at 40% ~ 60% before storing it.
• Storage Environment: Store the device in a dry, cool place. The recommended temperature is 0°C ~ 25°C. Avoid high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
• Storage Maintenance: If the device has not been used for several consecutive months, perform one charge-discharge cycle every 3 months to maintain battery activity.

Safety Warnings

⚠️ Important Safety Notice:

• Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture the battery.
• Do not throw the battery into a fire or place it near a high-temperature heat source.
• Do not short-circuit the positive and negative battery terminals or allow the battery to come into direct contact with conductive objects.
• If the battery swells, leaks, becomes noticeably hot, or produces an unusual odor, stop using it immediately and contact after-sales service.
• Recycle damaged batteries or batteries that have exceeded their service life in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of them improperly.

Battery Life and Maintenance

• Under normal operating conditions, the battery can support hundreds of charge-discharge cycles.
• If the operating time decreases significantly under the same task load, consider replacing the battery.
• When operating with a high-power data link or under a heavy load, monitor changes in the battery level through the “charging and alerts” and “indicator patterns,” and avoid prolonged operation at a low battery level.
