Reliability and Service Life
- Under reasonable conditions of use and maintenance, the unit's design life can support multiple years of routine mission operation;
- The battery retains a high level of usable capacity after 500 charge-discharge cycles in typical use and will subsequently degrade naturally over time and with use;
- Prior to shipment, the product undergoes reliability testing, including high- and low-temperature and vibration tests, as well as burn-in verification of critical functions.
To maintain good reliability, follow the maintenance and usage recommendations in Chapter 2, “Safety and Compliance,” and Chapter 9, “Troubleshooting and Support.”
