Unable to Power On
Symptom: The device does not respond when the power button is pressed, or it flashes briefly and then turns off immediately.
Common Causes and Solutions:
-
Battery Depleted
- Connect a power adapter and Type‑C cable that meet the recommended specifications, and charge the device for a while;
- Observe the charging indicator and on-screen prompts. Once the battery level has recovered to above 20%, press the power button to turn on the device.
-
Charging Port or Cable Abnormality
- Check whether there is dust or foreign matter in the Type‑C port. If necessary, gently clean it while the device is powered off;
- Test with a different cable and adapter to rule out possible damage to the cable or adapter.
If the device still cannot power on normally after the above troubleshooting, stop attempting to disassemble it yourself and contact technical support.
Three-Position Switch Issues
These include a switch that cannot be moved between positions and unfamiliarity with the safety logic.
- Confirm whether the switch can be physically moved to each position. If its feel or travel is abnormal, there may be a hardware issue;
- Refer to the preceding “Safety and Compliance” chapter to understand the safety logic of the three-position switch.
Data Link Video Feed Issues
Symptom: No image, video stuttering, severe pixelation, or abnormal latency.
Example troubleshooting steps:
- Check whether the data link module/application is correctly connected and running;
- Check the signal strength and confirm whether the distance, obstructions, and antenna condition are appropriate;
- Adjust the data link bit rate or resolution as needed to balance stability and image quality;
- If necessary, restart the data link module or application and repeat the test in an open area.
Touchscreen and Display Issues
Symptom: Touch input is misaligned or unresponsive, or the display is abnormal.
- If touch input is misaligned or unresponsive, first check whether a screen protector is causing interference, clean the screen, and then restart the device;
- If the issue persists after restarting, it may involve the hardware. Contact ROBOSN technical support for further diagnosis.
Battery Runtime and Charging Issues
For details, see “Battery Safety and Charging Guidelines” and “Maintenance and Care.” The relevant content is not repeated here. As a general rule:
Managing the task load appropriately, avoiding extreme-temperature environments, and maintaining the battery at the recommended intervals can significantly extend its service life. Battery runtime will be significantly shorter in low-temperature environments; this is a common phenomenon. You can reduce high-load use as appropriate or move the device to a room-temperature environment before using it again.
When encountering complex issues not covered in this section, also refer to “Common Issues Quick Reference” and “Maintenance and Care” for troubleshooting, or send detailed symptoms and logs to the technical support team.
