HDMI Output
The QE3 display can be output to an external display device through the HDMI 2.0 interface:
- Maximum output: 1080p. An external display will show an image only after screen mirroring or HDMI output is enabled in the mission software (MacroSilicon USB Display);
- Supports synchronized audio and video output, suitable for training demonstrations and large-screen monitoring;
- The actual frame rate and latency depend on the supporting firmware and the capabilities of the external device.
Key Usage Notes (General)
- Screen mirroring does not start automatically after connection: In general, HDMI output/screen mirroring must be enabled in the application being used before the external display will show an image;
- No image: Confirm that screen mirroring/HDMI output is enabled in the application; check the cable and the display's input source; replace the cable or lower the output resolution if necessary;
- Image flickering: This is usually caused by poor cable contact or an incompatible resolution/refresh rate. Reconnect the cable, adjust the settings, or replace the cable;
- No audio: Confirm that the display device supports audio and that the system volume is set correctly; if an audio signal is required, HDMI audio is recommended (if supported by the peripheral).
Resolution Setting Example (MacroSilicon USB Display App)
In some mission software (for example, the “MacroSilicon USB Display” app used internally), the HDMI output resolution can be selected separately. The example below shows common output resolution options (1920×1080, 1280×720, etc.):
For the resolutions actually available and the recommended settings, refer to the current mission software interface and the supporting technical documentation. If the external display has poor compatibility or the image is unstable, try lowering the output resolution to improve stability.
