The FlyCore flight controller provides only one open-source firmware option: ArduPilot. This section describes the board configuration and debugging procedures for ArduPilot Copter 4.8.0.

Firmware and Parameter Downloads

Before use, confirm that the target board is a FlyCore flight controller and back up the current parameters in Mission Planner. ArduPilot parameters must not be used interchangeably with PX4 parameters. After importing the parameters from the downloaded package, recalibrate according to the actual equipment and complete the ground checks with the propellers removed.

  1. First Connection and Parameter Protection: Complete the power-on checks, connect to Mission Planner, confirm the firmware, and export a parameter backup.
  2. Interfaces and SERIALx Configuration: Verify the serial port mapping, protocols, baud rates, and migration methods.
  3. UM982 Dual-Antenna RTK: Install the primary and secondary antennas, configure the baseline, inject differential corrections, and verify GPS yaw.
  4. Mounting Orientation and EKF3: Verify the attitude orientation, heading source, and EKF3 status.
  5. Basic Calibration and Motor Checks: Calibrate the accelerometer, external compass, and remote controller, and verify the modes and motors.
