1. Power Supply Test

For the initial power-on, it is recommended not to connect the battery directly. Instead, use a regulated DC power supply with current limiting and short-circuit protection. Check for abnormal current and ensure that there are no short circuits.

In the web console (192.168.1.88:18080), verify that the positioning solution does not diverge (vision + radar) to ensure that the wiring is correct.

2. Power-On Check

  • Power on the system and connect the computer to the flight controller with a USB cable.

  • Open the ground control station (QGC or the corresponding parameter tuning software) and confirm the following:

A magnetometer is not currently used, so there is no conventional compass calibration option.

Telemetry link operating normally: Confirm that QGC can receive information from the flight controller. image.png Accelerometer calibration operating normally: Calibrate the accelerometer, position the UAV as prompted, and keep it stationary until the prompt box turns green, indicating that calibration for that side is complete. Calibrate all sides in sequence. If the orientation is reversed, there is an issue with the IMU orientation or firmware. 屏幕截图 2026-08-13 174946.png Gyroscope calibration and horizon calibration operating normally: After calibrating the horizon, the aircraft's attitude indicator should be level. 屏幕截图 2026-08-13 174723.png

Disconnect the USB cable. Power the UAV with a DC power supply, turn on the UAV and remote controller, connect the remote controller to the computer with an Ethernet cable, and connect to QGC.

Remote controller connection operating normally: In the channel monitor, verify that each channel responds to remote controller stick inputs and that the mode switches are mapped correctly. 屏幕截图 2026-08-13 174636.png

image.png Flight controller information readout operating normally: Verify that all parameters, including attitude, voltage, and current, can be read. image.png

Telemetry parameter check: In the flight controller parameter table, verify that the hardware interface name of the serial port used for telemetry matches the definition in the documentation and that the correct baud rate is configured. 20260813-183303.png

  • Obstacle-avoidance parameter settings

Obstacle avoidance is not configured by default on this UAV. You can configure the relevant parameters in QGroundControl.

Set CP_DIST to -1 to disable obstacle avoidance. A value greater than 0 specifies the minimum obstacle-avoidance distance in meters; a value of 2 meters is recommended for initial testing. After enabling obstacle avoidance, fly in an open outdoor area. Indoor spaces are constrained and generally unsuitable for this configuration.

When obstacle avoidance is enabled and the aircraft detects an obstacle, it will move toward an obstacle-free area to avoid it.
