Battery Maintenance

1. Charging Precautions

• Avoid frequently discharging the battery completely. Charge it promptly when the battery level is low to prevent over-discharge;

• Charge the battery in a well-ventilated environment, away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.

2. Storage Requirements

• When storing the battery for an extended period, keep the battery level at approximately 70%;

• Avoid storing the battery fully charged for an extended period (more than 1 week);

• Avoid storing the battery fully discharged for an extended period (more than 1 week).

3. Damage Assessment and Disposal

• Stop using the battery if it is severely swollen or cannot be charged or discharged due to over-discharge;

• If the battery shows obvious swelling, leakage, an abnormal temperature increase, or any other abnormal condition, stop using it immediately and dispose of it properly in accordance with environmental requirements.

Aircraft Structural Maintenance

1. Structural Inspection

• Visual inspection: Regularly inspect the fuselage, tail, arms, and other parts for physical damage, cracks, or wear.

• Fastener inspection: Check whether the screws and fasteners in all areas are tight. Retighten them if necessary to prevent them from coming loose during flight.

2. Motor Maintenance

• Vibration inspection: Regularly remove the propellers and check whether the motors run smoothly and whether there is any abnormal noise or vibration.

• Cleaning and maintenance: Remove dust and debris from around the motors to prevent foreign matter from affecting motor cooling and performance.

3. Propeller Maintenance

• Visual inspection: Check the propellers for cracks, chips, or other damage. Replace them immediately if any abnormality is found.

• Dynamic balance inspection: Ensure that the propellers are properly balanced to reduce vibration during flight and improve flight stability.

4. Camera Maintenance

• Lens cleaning: Clean the camera lens with dedicated lens tissue or a lens cloth.

• Cable inspection: Ensure that all connecting cables are secure and undamaged.

• Takeoff and landing inspection: Before each takeoff and after each landing, check whether dust or stains are obstructing the lens.

5. Remote Controller Maintenance

• Cleaning and maintenance: Regularly clean the surface of the remote controller, paying particular attention to the buttons and control sticks to prevent accumulated dust from affecting operation.

• Battery storage: For extended storage, keep the battery half-charged and avoid storing it fully charged or fully discharged for an extended period.

• Storage environment: Store the remote controller in a dry environment and protect it from compression and moisture.

6. Periodic Maintenance

• Professional servicing: Based on the frequency of use and operating environment, periodically send the UAV to a professional service provider for a comprehensive inspection and any necessary repairs.
