This product is suitable for indoor LiDAR-based localization flight and uses the onboard mid360 LiDAR by default to achieve LiDAR-based localization. Before arming for flight, switch to LiDAR-based localization in the ground control station and confirm that the positioning is valid (Valid). For environmental requirements, see LiDAR-based localization environment requirements.

Start LiDAR-based localization

Warning

The P450 series supports one-click positioning source switching in the ground control station
The positioning source can be switched by right-clicking the home page, which automatically starts the corresponding positioning driver
When a new positioning source is selected, the previous positioning driver automatically shuts down
  1. Right-click a blank area in the ground control station, select Positioning Source Switching, and click MID360 (switch to LiDAR-based localization). After successful startup, the positioning source will change to Valid, and the heartbeat packet in the upper-right corner of the ground control station will change from red to blue.

  1. Check the positioning source data. After startup, the position data should converge toward (0,0,0). If the positioning data is not near (0,0,0), disconnect and reconnect the ground control station, then click MID360 again to switch to LiDAR-based localization.
