Caution
With this product configuration, arming and takeoff are supported only by clicking Arm and Take Off in the Prometheus ground control station and then sliding the arming slider to complete takeoff; the aircraft cannot lift off by pushing the throttle on the remote controller alone. Before connecting, complete Prepare the communication link, and disable the computer's VPN and firewall (or allow the ground control station through the firewall). Connect the ground control station to the UAV
- After opening the Prometheus ground control station, click Connection Settings; the connection window appears

- In the connection settings window, select the corresponding connection entry (the host address defaults to the onboard IP 192.168.1.11), and click Connect
- After the connection is successful, click X in the upper-right corner of the window to close the connection settings window

Check whether the connection is normal
- After closing the connection settings window, the Prometheus ground control station main interface should appear

Click Message Feedback and confirm that UAV messages are received normally; if there is no feedback, troubleshoot Prepare the communication link and the computer's network configuration

Click Function Scripts to view the nodes currently running onboard and their CPU usage (communication-related nodes start by default after the connection is successful)
Arm and take off from the ground control station

Confirm that Positioning source switching has been completed (indoor flight requires switching to LiDAR-based localization and confirming Valid), and that the positioning and site meet the LiDAR-based localization environment requirements

In the ground control station, click Arm and Take Off. When the slider appears at the bottom, drag the Arm and Start slider to confirm takeoff; the aircraft automatically switches to COMMAND_CONTROL mode and hovers in the air
Caution
Remote controller channel 6 (SWB) is in the uppermost position (position 1) by default. After the ground control station arms the aircraft and initiates takeoff, the aircraft enters COMMAND_CONTROL and accepts commands from the ground control station. There is no need to operate the remote controller at this stage; it may be set aside while you monitor the aircraft. If manual takeover is required or the flight is abnormal, move channel 6 to the middle position (position 2), and operate the remote controller only after entering position-control manual mode. If manual control is unavailable, move channel 7 to the lowermost position (position 3) to perform an emergency motor stop.

After the aircraft is hovering steadily, move remote controller channel 6 (SWB) from the uppermost position (position 1) to the middle position (position 2).

Check Control Status in the ground control station: when it switches from COMMAND_CONTROL back to position-control manual mode (the interface may still display INIT), this indicates that onboard/ground-control-station command control has been exited. You can then follow Stick mode and UAV remote controller channel functions below to operate the UAV manually with the remote controller.
Stick mode

As shown above, there are two sticks: the left stick and the right stick.
The remote controller's factory-default stick mode is "American mode." During flight, use the left stick to control the flight altitude and direction, and the right stick to control the aircraft's forward, backward, left, and right movement.

UAV remote controller channel functions
