How to Upgrade the Firmware

LQ-10 units normally ship with the latest firmware available at the time. Users can begin using them immediately. As the product remains on the market, however, new features and optimizations may become available. Users can choose to upgrade the firmware to obtain these new features. The LQ-10 provides a convenient firmware upgrade method: users only need to initiate the upgrade from the web management interface, and the upgrade process completes automatically.

Firmware upgrade procedure:

• Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the corresponding device.
• Click “Firmware Update” in the navigation bar on the left to open the firmware upgrade page.
• Select the firmware file to upgrade. Click “Click to Browse Files,” select the required file, and the upgrade can begin.

• Click “Confirm and Start Upgrade.” When the upgrade prompt appears, click Confirm.

Quick Factory Reset

If an abnormal condition occurs while using the LQ-10, users can quickly restore the factory settings. The LQ-10 provides two quick factory-reset methods:

1. Factory reset through the web interface:

• Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the corresponding device.
• Click “Restore Factory Settings” in the navigation bar on the left to open the factory-reset page.
• Click “Restore to AP Mode” or “Restore to STA Mode.” When the erase-and-restore prompt appears, click Confirm.

• Wait for the device to finish restarting.

2. Factory reset with the physical button:

• Use this method if the LQ-10 behaves abnormally and cannot be restored through the web interface, or if the user has forgotten the IP address configured in the web interface and cannot access it.
• A RESET recovery port is provided on the side of the LQ-10.
• After the system starts normally (the SYS indicator begins flashing), use a SIM-eject tool, fine needle, or similar tool. Insert it vertically into the small round hole and press the reset button inside for 5–10 seconds. The device restarts automatically and restores the factory-default configuration. To prevent accidental activation, holding the button for more than 10 seconds has no effect.
