7.11 OTG Interface

This is a Micro USB 2.0 port. Connect it to a PC with a Micro USB cable to flash an image.

Interface Function Test Demo

Test Equipment

Power adapter, Orin main unit, and Micro USB 2.0 data cable.

Test Objective

Test whether OTG system flashing works correctly and verify the REC button function.

Test Procedure

1. Turn off power to the system.

2. Use a USB cable to connect the Orin to a USB port on the computer.

3. Press and hold the REC button, power on the system, keep holding the button for at least 3 seconds, and then release the REC button.

4. Enter $ lsusb in the host terminal. If an NVIDIA device is displayed, the device has successfully entered Recovery mode and can be flashed. If no NVIDIA device is displayed, check the cable and the procedure for entering the mode, and then try again.
