Image flashing installs the corresponding system image version on a Jetson device. Before flashing, confirm that the device model matches the image version, and follow the procedure to put the device into Recovery mode before flashing. Keep the device power supply and data connection stable throughout the flashing process to prevent a power or connection interruption from causing the flash to fail.
Image backup saves the device's current system environment and related configuration. After software installation, driver configuration, and application deployment are complete, use the backup function to save the current system state. The backed-up image can subsequently be used to recover the system or deploy the same environment, reducing repeated installation and configuration work.
Create an image backup before performing a system upgrade, making important configuration changes, or carrying out any other operation that could affect normal system operation. This enables rapid system recovery if an issue occurs.
