This section provides an SBUS communication example to help users understand and use the SBUS communication function of the LQ module.

  • Connect the receiver to the LQ3 Data Link Station Unit and connect the LQ3 Data Link Mobile Unit to the flight controller's SBUS port. Configure the two units for SBUS transmission and reception, respectively.

  • Configure the primary LQ module for SBUS transmit mode, enable the SBUS function, enable the local client, and set the destination IP address and destination port.

  • Configure the receiving unit for SBUS receive mode, enable the SBUS function, enable the local server, and set its port to the same port used by the transmitting unit.

  • After configuration is complete, the remote controller can transmit SBUS signals to the flight controller.
