How to Upgrade the Firmware

LQ devices are generally shipped with the latest firmware available at the time of shipment and can be used immediately. However, new features or optimizations may be released over time. You can upgrade the firmware to obtain these new features. LQ provides a convenient firmware upgrade method: simply perform the upgrade through the web management page, and the process will be completed automatically.

Firmware upgrade procedure:

• Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your device.
• Click “Firmware Upgrade” in the left navigation bar to open the firmware upgrade page.
• Select the firmware file to upgrade and click “Upload” to begin the upgrade.
• After the upgrade is complete, click “Confirm Reboot” under “System Reboot” in the left navigation bar. Wait for the “Operation successful” message to appear, then wait for the device to restart. The firmware upgrade is then complete.

Quick Factory Reset

If an issue occurs while using an LQ device, you can quickly restore it to factory settings. LQ provides two methods for quickly restoring factory settings:

1. Restore factory settings through the web interface:

• Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your device.
• Click “Restore Default Settings” in the left navigation bar to open the factory reset page.
• Click “Restore Default Settings.” When the “Operation successful. Changes take effect immediately after restart” message appears, click “Confirm.”
• Click “Confirm Reboot” under “System Reboot” in the left navigation bar. Wait for the “Operation successful” message to appear, then wait for the device to restart to complete the firmware upgrade.

2. Restore factory settings using the physical button:

• Use this method when an LQ device malfunctions and factory settings cannot be restored through the web interface, or when you have forgotten the IP address configured through the web interface and cannot access the page.
• First, connect the LQ device to a power supply. During power-on, immediately press and hold the reset button.
• After the device starts and the white operation indicator begins flashing rapidly, release the reset button. The device enters factory reset mode.
• Wait for the device indicator to light up. The factory settings have now been restored successfully.
