Pre-flight Checklist

WARNING

For operational safety, remove propellers before status checks!

Drone Appearance Inspection: Check for scratches on the drone shell, ensure no gaps between upper/lower housings, and verify no exposed loose wiring.

Frame Inspection: Check motor mounts, landing gear, arms, GPS, and data transmission antennas for any looseness.

Battery Inspection: This product uses custom hard-case batteries. Check for shell scratches and intact battery labels. Connect the balance lead adapter and verify voltage using a BB buzzer. Normal total voltage should be between 15.2V-16.8V.

Battery Installation: Insert battery with connector facing inward along the rail. Ensure secure XT60 connection, then engage the rear lock. A faint blue glow will appear in the light cover. Long-press (3s) the top button to power on, with all indicator lights activating.

Proper installation shown below:

TIP

Power on/off sequence: Short press (>150ms) then long press (3s). All power indicators will illuminate/extinguish.

Battery & Navigation Lights: The 6 rear lights indicate battery level (diminishing with charge). Red flashing signifies critical low battery - land immediately.

Center navigation light shows flight controller status:

NOTE

Red/Blue flashes alternately: Sensor initializing - keep FC balanced
Blue steady: Armed (no GPS lock)
Green steady: Ready for takeoff

System Status Check: Configure laptop IP per Data Transmission Setup in Extended Help section. Successful connection shown:

Click icons in sequence:

Check status overview (green=normal, red=requires calibration):

Verify: Arm status, flight mode, system messages, GPS signals (>15 satellites), RC signals, battery level, and instrument response to attitude changes.

Remote Controller Check

WARNING

Ensure all switches are in top position before powering on to prevent accidental arming.

Factory preset channel assignments:

  1. Channel 5: Arm switch (top=disarmed, bottom=armed)
  2. Channel 6: Emergency stop (top=normal, bottom=kill motors)
  3. Channel 7: Return-to-home (bottom=activate RTH with GPS)
  4. Channel 8: Flight modes:
    • Top: Position Hold
    • Middle: Land
    • Bottom: Mission

Flight Mode Descriptions: Position: Holds position when sticks centered
Land: Automatic landing
Mission: Executes pre-planned route
Return: Autonomous return to launch point

Camera System Check

With data link connected, video should appear automatically. For prolonged absence, refer to Aerial Imaging section:

  1. Camera/Video mode selector
  2. Recording/Photo capture button

After completing the above checks, you may proceed with the flight test. It is recommended to conduct the entire test in Position Mode

NOTE

Fly in well-lit indoor environments - poor lighting affects position holding.
