Calibration Procedures

Important Notice All following calibration procedures require connecting the UAV to QGroundControl (QGC) ground station and enabling developer mode.

Calibration Procedures

Important Notice

All following calibration procedures require connecting the UAV to QGroundControl (QGC) ground station and enabling developer mode.

Sensor Calibration Steps:

  1. Connect the Type-C port below the control button to laptop using data cable
  2. Launch QGroundControl software
3. Click icons in sequence as indicated by arrows
4. Select Communication Connection
5. Click "Add" and configure:
- ① Custom name for COM port - ② Select "Serial" connection type - ③ Choose recognized COM port - ④ Set baud rate to 57600 - ⑤ Click "OK" to confirm
  1. Select the newly added port and click "Connect"
  1. Navigate to Sensors interface and sequentially calibrate:
  • Compass
  • Gyroscope
  • Accelerometer
  • Level Horizon

Calibration Notes:

  1. Compass Calibration
  • Position UAV as shown and rotate when prompted
  • Complete all surfaces until indicators turn green
  1. Gyroscope Calibration
  • Keep UAV stationary on level surface
  1. Accelerometer Calibration
  • Follow orientation prompts and maintain stillness
  1. Level Horizon Calibration
  • Place UAV horizontally and wait for completion

Battery Voltage Calibration

  1. Measure battery voltage with multimeter
  2. Install battery and power on UAV
  3. Navigate to Power settings:
  • Cell count: 4 (4S1P LiPo)
  • Empty voltage: 3.60V
  • Full voltage: 4.20V
  1. Input measured voltage and calculate
5. Verify battery status display:

ESC Calibration

  1. Install battery along guide rails
  2. Initiate ESC calibration
  3. Press power button on UAV light cover when prompted
  4. Calibration will auto-complete
5. Confirm completion when prompted
